Privacy Policy

Algoritmo Apps (“we”, “us”) is an independent software studio based in Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil. This policy explains what information our Apps process, why, and the choices you have. Our Apps are media players: they do not provide, host, sell or include any audiovisual content. All content comes exclusively from the playlist/server credentials that the user configures.

1. Information we collect

Device identifiers — a platform device ID (e.g. Android ID, Samsung DUID, MAC address) used to activate the app on your device and manage its license/trial.
Playlist account identifier — the username of the playlist you configure (we do not create accounts; credentials belong to your own content provider).
Approximate location — country/region derived from IP address, used for service quality and routing. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
App activity — in-app preferences such as favorites, profiles and “continue watching” positions, so your experience can be restored.
Diagnostics — technical quality events (e.g. playback errors, connection health) used to keep the service reliable.

We do not collect name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, photos, voice recordings, payment card data or precise location. Purchases, when offered, are processed by the store platform (e.g. Google Play), which handles payment data under its own policy.

2. How we use information

Activate and license the App on your device;
Restore your preferences (profiles, favorites, resume points);
Monitor and improve reliability, performance and playback quality;
Prevent abuse and fraud.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data is processed by our own backend infrastructure. Content requests (streams, program guides) go directly to the provider configured by you, under that provider’s responsibility.

4. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to our infrastructure is restricted and logged.

5. Retention & deletion

Device and activity records are kept while the App is active on your device. You can request deletion of all data associated with your device at any time — e-mail us at [email protected] (or use the deletion page at auraplayer.site/exclusao). We respond within 15 days.

6. Children

Our Apps are not directed to children. Content availability depends entirely on the playlist configured by the user, who is responsible for enabling parental controls (PIN) where appropriate.

7. Your rights

Under applicable laws (including LGPD and, where applicable, GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Apps or this website.
